Just as the wetlands of the Midwest and Plains are slowly disappearing, so is the handwork of the pioneer women. Imbedded in this work are remnants of a hand made vintage quilt - maker and date unknown.
Hand dyed and commercial fabric, raw edge appliqué, variegated and solid thread, domestic machine sewn and mounted on linen covered stretched canvas
